has anyone noticed how long the requests are taking the last couple of days?


i have like 6 songs requested and i don't even see them in the Q....   i started requesting when i got back from lunch at 2:30 and havent seen any of them....


anyone else notice?  or have i just heard Save a horse ride a cowboy one too many times and it has blown my perspective away?

 the request system was acting funky this weekend , maybe it still is , or they'll come on as you head out the door

I'm with you. I've got 4 in myself and haven't seen them. Last time I hit the request list I hit three songs that were already requested and I haven't seen them either. Must be a lot of requests today.

This morning, Jeremy said the requests were lined up for 3 hours!  So I would guess it's more than that now...

Yeah, JR said requests were coming out of everywhere and there were like 3 or 4 hours worth. I am guessing you may not get to them beofre you head out the door. I guess that means that more people are tuning in and making requests. Good for the station.

yes even this morning I was up early and requested a song before I went to work- usually that early it comes on within 3 songs. It was in the que like an hour and 1/2 later!! Must be a LOT of requesters!

Maybe there are more folk in the UK tuning into the station. That would explain a large block of requests already in the que.

If I can't sleep (heaven forbid) I'll get up early and see how long it takes for a song to come on like at 4 am. Maybe see if Ultimo notices anything too- he's usually here like at 3:30 am CST.

Don't you hate when that happens? You put your songs in and move along with your day. Then a song comes along and your like "this is a good song" only then to remember that you requested it. D'oh! I have done it a few times. Probably because I don't request too much during the week.

I do that too!  I'm good at forgetting I requested anything, and then decide, oh I need to go to the bathroom or something, but I forget to check the que, and it plays while I'm away!  (Wow, that was a run on sentence!)

The phone is always my requested song killer. Nine times out of ten- the phone will ring or my appointment will show up right when my song does!

Yes guys, the request line has been red hot lately. A 3 hour delay is becoming common.

I'm afraid if it keeps up I may have to go to 1 request every 30 minutes during the business hours so everyone can get their music in.

I guess it's the price of popularity. I haven't even mentioned the request system on the air very much, so I'm surprised it's being used so heavily.

I...I am having trouble adjusting to fame...its just, its an ever growing crowd wanting a piece of the fame, the glory, the spotlight, the greatness that is Freeze Frame Radio. The music never ends. Its not easy being famous, but its a labor of love for the listeners, and so long as Riggs and I are breathing, we will sacrifice ourselves for greatness every day. Its a sacrifice of love, this coolness. But you are all worth it!! I shall carry on!!

Oh, i got close today!!!!   I remembered my request and saw it in the Q.....   i sat here eagerly awaiting it to reach the front then.... bam!  rescramble for new song being played.   Now it is gone... not even in the Q anymore....  


Poor Jeff Lynne...    i will keep the faith.....   i am sure that it is out there somewhere....   hmmm  that sounds like a couple of song titles....   MORE REQUESTS!!!!!!


i have to go to lunch at 12:30 today.... anyone want to bet that Video plays between 12:30 and 1:30?   (eastern time)
