Morning. I don't know about you guys, but I am glad that Friday has finally arrived. It seemed a long time coming this week. Although I have a busy weekend, I am looking forward to sleep-in day tomorrow.

Oh, that reminds me, I need to buy a lottery ticket from the gas station across the street from work. One of the guys here has won $750 total in the last two weeks from there. This would be a good day to do it.
Our sitter is leaving at noon today so I'll spend the afternoon at home with the Boy Wonder.
Last night at the park went ok. It wasn't great (as expected, we messed up some), but it wasn't too bad either. We had shade and the heat wasn't as unbearable as I expected. I froze two bottles of water and sipped on them throughout the two hours we were there and that helped.
I have some things I need to do this morning . . . wish they would do themselves.
Good day, all! Yes, it is a happy day indeed. I decided yesterday that I'm going to have an eye problem today, so here it is... 3 day weekend for me. Getting ready to go buy some paint brushes so I can get the new stuff on the front of the house painted.
The heat wave is supposed to break today. That would be really nice. Might rain tonight, but this weekend is supposed to be lower temps. That will help with getting the painting done.
