Wow, quite a swing in 24 hours, not only is Mellencamp out of the number one spot, but he trails Kim Carnes by five points now.

I guess he was requested a LOT two weeks ago, he's falling like a rock!

it looks like Lunatic Fringe will knock Mellencamp to #3 in the next day or two, and might even knock Kim out of #1 eventually, considering how he went from #20 about 5 days ago to #3.


I like Kim Carnes, but I'm still stunned at the popularity of Draw Of The Cards, it was a huge flop when it came out considering it was the followup single to Bette Davis Eyes and couldn't even make the Billboard top 20.

  MZ- i believe we are talking about 2 different songs .my 'boom boom ' is on blondies no exit cd and its a long way from a rap song ,  it's  kinda sultry ,dim lights, black dress, reveiling neckline, a good wine...
