Butch Walker posted about it on Facebook - it's the first I'm hearing of this.  60 is pretty young to be dead, IMO.

Definitely had a couple of "critical" 80's songs. He was working as a sound guy for his son's band... Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. I guess, a pretty go time to die. Better than pooping yourself and taking pills.
