That's right, tomorrow night is the concert I've been waiting for. Yay me!
I've got a couple more hours in the shop this morning then the first round of trim making will be done. I say "first round" because I made as much window trim as the home owner requested but when I dropped it off yesterday, the finish carpenters laughed and said "That's not nearly enough". I'll get the base trim done today and deliver it and maybe they will know how much more they might need.
I'm starting to work on things for November. Going to set up a Bloomington NaNoWriMo page on Facebook, and starting to host weekly write ins. I'm thinking I should probably wait until the first of October to start contacting the 2 high schools.
Morning all. Been here for a while doing some stuff. Jackass next to me decided to roll in at 9:45am Must be nice. Can't wait to see what time he tries to leave. I don't think I have seen the bigger boss around today. That is the only thing that would keep him at bay. Oh well, I am looking forward to tomorrow when he isn't here.

It's Wednesday. That means the public library stay open late.
Well, my bad week (last week) is catching up to me. I found a billing boo boo that I have to correct. Luckily it's with a company we're practically cousins with -- ugh.. I hate when I have to suck it up I hope that is the only blunder I encounter.
It's going to be a super busy day for me. The other gal is on vacation, so I get to answer phones until the end of the week -- Yay me!

It is 9/1 and it is going to be 97 today. It has been hot since Sunday. At least the humidity has been low.
But last week while I was on vacation it rained for the better part of the first four days and temps weren't out of the 70s. Once Thursday arrived, it was much better weather. Heck, even Wednesday evening was nice.

Good day, all... finally getting around to checking in. It has been busy this morning. Not so much with work, though I do have something rather important to fix... more importantly, today is the boss's birthday. Had to go get the cake and the birthday card from the crew after I sent him an e-card just from me. He has not been having a good day work wise, so I feel good about making a fuss about it being his day. I think he knows what I'm up to... he was all smiles last time I saw him.
Anyhoo... worked until 1AM last night. Feeling pretty awake at the moment, which is nice. Hoping with enough caffeine I can keep going until 4:30ish. Praying that Hurricane Earl minds his manners and stays out to sea. I don't need the hassle of a flooded switch site this weekend.

Very yummy too! And yes, what would it be without and entry for the Etch-A-Sketch file? I sent out an e-mail titled "Birthday cupcakes at the boss's desk" of which the entire text was "Stop by and enjoy!". I figured that said it all. Etch walks across the office over to my desk, looks around, and asks if I have any cupcakes left. I said, "Um... as the e-mail says, they are at the boss's desk. Ya know... Ken... the guy we all work for. His birthday and all." He says, "Oh, I thought you meant your desk. Don't they all follow you around?"
