Yeah, that date is coming up soon. I don't expect much from the Eagles this year as they settle in with young guys, a new quarterback and an offensive line that needs to learn how not to move before the ball is snapped.
Since you are in football mode, does this mean you have glanced over that important 3 day date this weekend between our good old boys of summer? If they don't mind, the Phillies could use the three wins.

Mema, both teams will be playing 2nd and 3rd stringers trying to make the team. So, it should be pretty unpredictable but all it means is the winner gets to say our back-ups can beat your back-ups.
I am still looking forward to the game, because it is FOOTBALL.
Fuzzy, there is still alot of talent on your club and Ried is good coach, so I am sure you guys will give us a dogfight...especially since it is opening week end.
I havent given up on baseball, I still watch...but we are just playing out the string...not playing for anything other than maybe getting to .500. WOO HOO.
Well, who won the game? I suppose I could look it up. I didn't pay attention to the Eagles game. It was just about half time when I saw the score. We were busy babbling and yelling for the Phillies. When I finally got inside the bar and saw the game, they were down 6-2. I think they decided now that I was watching the game to score some runs. They threw up one run and in the next inning put up a 9 spot. Of course, they gave three of those runs right back. The won the game 12-11 in Colorado. Bring on the Brewers!

While it is nice to see college football on again, it makes me kind of sad. The summer is ending, the weather is turning, the scenery will begin turning and there will be more darkness.
