We got rain last night. Lots of rain. There was a narrow band of storms that slid over us the long way. 10 miles either side of us got nearly nothing. I had 4.8" in my gauge. Most of it came in about 2 hrs.
Well, happy first full day of fall people! Those of you that have been waiting for the cooler weather, here we go.
Around here we set a new record so far this year - 54 days of temps over 90*. Apparently we may not be quite finished with those temps. It is going to be in the high 80s today and low 90s tomorrow. Nonetheless, I don't expect to get any pretty fall colors. We haven't had much rain so that makes it kind of hard to get the colors. The leaves are just turning brown and falling off.

We had some tstorms last night. Lost of wind, thunder and lightning. Unfortunately there was not a lot of rain. Maybe 0.25 inches. So not good. We would have glady taken your 5 inches Web.
