Good day, all. I'm hoping the quality of this day improves as it goes. I got here and immediately started into doing the daily process I just took over yesterday. Got it all done and was getting ready to move on to something else when I was contacted with the information that everything I just did needs to be cancelled because someone is making some changes. Now the relatively simple 10 minutes worth of work I already did is going to take all day to re-do.
Ah well... I still have a job. It is going to be sunny and in the low 70's. It will get better.

The question of the day: If they have scheduled a fire drill and it is raining off and on throughout the remainder of the day (heavy at times), does this mean the fire drill is cancelled?

I've been dealing with server issues all morning, but it looks like I got a handle on that now. A little longer here watching a server, then I'll go back to the shop and start making dust again.

I'm telling you... the diety of all things IP related is not happy these days. We are still working on network stability over here. All kind of strange things have been happening this week.

I wish it was over. I'm still doing stuff to try to pre-empt another SIP storm like we had last weekend... and now I have to be on an emergency recovery conference call for the emergency that hasn't happened yet that I'm trying to keep from occurring.
