I know Riggs is in a hell right now that involves wires, spiderwebs, humidity, darkness, and tools. Talk about commitment!

We have a target date of Sept 6 to do an evening show together, called T-30. We usually like to do one of these once a year. We basically pick a week from a year in the 1980's, (in this case the week of Sept 6th) and play the top 30 hits from the Billboard Charts from that week. It's 3 hrs of goofiness, fun, and a lot of great tunes from a fun time!

Its a lot of fun to do this; it usually coincides with a good grill out. Back when the station was just beginning, RIggs did not do a morning show, but at 10 o'clock each night he did a T-10 for that day from a year in the 1980's. This is when we were just an 80's station. That's a heavy nightly commitment, and now with him working for the man once more, is hard to do, as opposed to The Breakfast Club.

But the idea is still a fun one to revisit at least once a year. There will be more details and promos as we solidify the date; heck- we might even have a poll to let the listeners decide what year from the 80's we should do.

But it should make for just a fun, out of the ordinary live weeknight broadcast!

me either! these are a lot of fun to do. For some songs there is that all out ROCK OUT factor, there is a CRINGE factor for others, some songs get a big ??? I DON'T REMEMBER THIS SONG- but in a lot of cases, certain songs will bring back memories that we share. Its a fun night of radio. But I am already spilling toooo much beans! I'll let Riggs weigh in with the "official" announcement!

I've got one of those pre-paid cell phones. Maybe we can call you and do an on air plug for your weird news!! Introduce the evening crowd to you! that would be cool!!

aw no worries- we'd just explain it to the listeners, then get you on the phone for a little "hi folks!" time- "I always liked "weird newz" because............" really informal, just fun, but if you got any crazy cool ideas please share!

and let me tell anyone else who reads this NO WHERE ELSE ON LIVE 365 does this happen!! Live broadcasts are rare; interactive live broadcasts WORTH LISTENING TO just do not happen anywhere else! (Sorry to the communist propodandists, et al, etc)
