There was this book I read as a child called "Lizard Music" by Manus Pinkwater. These lizards lived on this invisible island that had a radio transmitter so they could broadcast this music. This kid sets of on a raft to go find this island and the lizards. I just remember this being a really cool book and wishing I was this kid.

I would like to go to Xanth (any Piers Anthony fans here?), or to Narnia. Those were some of my favorite books as a kid, and I'm excited the movie is coming out.

While thinking of books, in the fifth grade we had a reading half hour every other day after lunch. The teacher would simply read from a book as we sat and listened. She once read this one called "Where The Red Fern Grows"- about a boy and his bloodhound dog. I remember really liking the story, but at the end the dog dies. I remember just a classroom of 11 yr old balling their eyes out. That was mean!

I remember reading that book! The bad part was I think I read that book at about the same time period that I watched Old Yeller.

I agree with Ultimo. I would love to visit the Willy Wonka factory. Specifically the area where you can eat everything you see. They would have to roll me out of there. The closest thing I've seen are those chocolate fountains that they have at weddings. I still haven't attended one that has one, but I'm considering becoming a professional wedding crasher just to do that. Or convince my husband that one is necessary in my house.

I've made those in my refrigerator with magic shell and a melted hershey bar. It was sort of an abstract fountain, but it worked. Actually it was more like a volcano.....I bet its still in there..

I want a big one. Like the size of a jacuzzi. And with a flick of a switch I can be chocolate heaven. I would say I'd jump in every now and then, but my husband doesn't like chocolate. Ooh. Maybe that was a TMI.

No to Wonderland. That Mad Hatter guy got on my nerves.......How about Mr Rogers Neighborhood. If I could find it, I would buy a house there. Everyone is so nice.

awww....but you could go to Handyman Negerees (sic), go see Gordy or that depressed Owl....I would admit tho that Speedy Delivery guy would get on my nerves and I would order him off of my property.
