I'm starting the day in a bad mood because of course I come into the office to a pile of problems and impatient people. Days off are always a double-edged sword. Sometimes I wonder if the stress of coming back in the office is worth the time off, or if they just cancel each other out.
I remember why I don't care for the later time change. I drive East in the morning. I have spent last week and this week fighting the sun. It is at that point right over the horizon and everything in its way and still just low enough to not be blocked out by the visor without a positioning struggle. We'll change the clocks and then eventually I'll have to do it all over again.

Mz, Its that time already huh? what are you writing about this year?
Fuzzy...If you are willing to keep me in the lifestyle to which I have grown accustomed, I will serve as your chauffeur.
My night was busy but pretty routine. It didn't start off well. On the way to work I stopped to get some lunch items only to find my credit card expired and I had no way to get cash at that hour (or the time). I hadn't eaten since 9:00am yesterday morning. (Tried to sleep most of the day). Luckily a 2nd shift co worker had a sandwhich and an apple he gave me before my shift started or I would have been looking at inmates and coworkers alike as big pork chops.
I got the final shop mowing of 2010 completed yesterday. Yay me!
For some reason, my phone decided to forget all my email accounts over night. They were not even existing in the phone this morning. Another app that looks at the accounts still sees them, but not the email program. Anyway, I've been working on getting them set up again.
A cool, fall morning. I'm going to spray for some bugs around here once it warms up a bit.
I have a new neighbor next door here at the shop. That house finally sold. I've heard rumors of who it is, but I haven't met him yet.
Oh yeah, I gotta go vote today. There is not a lot going on for us here, except for the local school board. It's more of a "anybody but these guys" kind of vote. We had two school board candidates actually run an ad in the paper that said "The school board is not about what's best for the kids, it's about watching the finances." Actually, it should be about a balance between the two.
Good day, all. It has been a busy morning so far... got up a little early so I could get out of the house a little early in order to stop and vote on the way to work. By time I hit the highway, it was a parking lot.
Anyhoo... I'm here at the office trying to get settled into this day. Oh yeah... and I need to send some flowers to my sister. Today is her birthday.
It is cold this morning... presently 41* but sunny. The high for the day should be around 60*. Happily, the network is already set for the time change, so I have but to change my personal clocks this weekend and get myself mentally prepared for driving to and from work in the dark all the time.
D... glad you stopped by. Nice of your co-worker to share some chow with you.
Mz... good luck with the book.
Web... get them bugs!
Fuzzy... rock on. I feel your pain with driving into the sun. My office is east of my home.
Ah well... have a great day everyone.
