Wow, having listened to FreezeFrame so long, I forgot how the other stations all have the Live365 commercials playing along with other commercials for music you've just "gotta have!"

Which makes me wonder, sorry if this is a repeat question - how you you guys keep commercials from Live365 from playing in non-VIP mode? Is your radio station signed on differently?

I'm pretty sure that there is a setting somewhere where Riggs can turn that on or off Zim- its not a mandatory thing that we have to air them.

Actually,


They are mandatory if you are not broadcasting live.  Most stations on Live365 are either completely canned or mostly canned.


They simply load up songs onto a server and then Live365 randomly plays the songs.  I've never understood the point of paying the monthly broadcast fees to do that.


If Live365 can figure out a way to break into the live broadcasts to run their commercials I'm sure they will.  Hopefully that day will never come.

Now I NEED to propose a group toast, a group hug, and tell you how great this is. Most other tweakers on live365 have ego needs to "share their greatness in musical taste" with the "sullied masses"....they would never go live and (gasp) waste their precious time!!


But love the fact they can show their friends that yes, "I share my greatness with the great anonymous mass of world." & Alot of the bigger stations are established college stations simply using this as another vehicle to air their traditional radio broadcasts.


Ain't nobody but Freeze Frame goin live 24-7, letting YOU pick the songs (heck even for my shows I listen to ideas, suggestions, take and play sent Mp3's and in dave's case cds sent to me!!) We have this great forum too (thanks to you for making it great!!!!)- this is truely live365's best kept secret! When we say we are live 24-7, believe me, we'd love to be in the studio that long interacting with you! A year ago, what we are doing now was a dream. Here's to another year of fun!!
