Dear Live365 Broadcaster -
 
As you may already know, there were some technical difficulties last night
which have resulted in a failure of one of our file servers. If you are
getting this message, there may have been some data loss in your station.
 
The good news is that we do have a full backup from August 20th, 2005. If
you did lose data, we will be restoring your station from this backup over
the next few hours.
 
We will be posting regular updates in the Network and Technical Help forum:
 
 
We are truly sorry for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience.

did this cause something funny to happen the request list?


i just logged on with my friend Donna at work.... 


she tried to request some songs, but both were already in the que....  then she requested a third song and a new message came up that said that she had reached her limit of 3 songs in 30 minutes...


so i logged on when she told me and my first song came up and said that i had reached my limit of 3 songs even though i hadn't requested any yet today....   


very strange....

that is strange mj- I really think they are struggling at live365 and we as broadcasters are left with the piecemeal bits. The request system is Freeze Frame's but if live365 is pooping out; lord knows how thats affecting us.


I tell you what- I have 3 requests coming up shortly. If you got 3 songs you and your friend want to hear, let me know, you can have my slot- just let me know what they are!

although i think it is strange that even though the 2 songs said they were already in the que and when she pushed the third one it said she had reached her limit, her 3 songs are playing now....     i find it very strange that anyone has taste like Donna.... LOL!!!!  


we need something to keep us moving...   I'll go with the classics of FF

IF you don't like any of these songs, you should not feel in anyway obligated to pick for us.

- how about Clapton, the way that you use it?


By the way Donna says Hi and Thanks,  i have been trying to get her to join our little group so she could post, but we are at work and she worries about our gastapo IT people...  


she sits next to me and we listen on my computer...   at least until the IT Police come take me away as donna is sure will happen eventually....  LOL.   


She was thinking maybe i couldn't pick becuase we are in the same building...  with the same e-mail format address....  maybe they think we are the same person.... 


still doesn't explain the weird message, but maybe why i couldn't pick.

that might just be it mj! If your IT geeks can make it so Freeze Frame sees you both as the same IP address, that MIGHT be the problem! Sometimes tho, the software we use can be goofy too....Nonetheless, please welcome your friend aboard! Sorry that you are stuck at work this evening! Let me see about that clapton track!

Thanks!  oh, and the 30 minutes were up, so i entered 3 songs and then Donna tried and she was locked out this time... so i guess if you are in the same building you can only request 3 per building..  


(and on the side, i think that Donna might have double clicked all her requests to make it say that, she has an issue with clicking...   LOL!  cause mine worked fine just like normal.)
