Ultimo, Star good afternoon, good morning. It was a soccer weekend with the youngest. They went 2-1 but didn't qualify for the finals. This weekend it's the big Labor Day tournament in Dayton, Ohio. We'll see haow that goes...I don't think they'll make the finals there either. There are some premier teams playing in this tourney.
Star- Do you have electricity yet? You're lucky you got Katrina when you did. I can't believe the folks who stayed. I've hear a beach resort in Mississippi may have as many as 30 dead, they decided to ride out the hurricane...on the beach. I just don't understand. You can't take a catagory 5 hurricane that lightly.
Ray- Luckily our power was restored last night. It was so good to take a warm shower w/ and not in the dark!! Not to mention sleep w/ out drowning in my own sweat!!
Morning all. I am looking forward to a short week. I have scheduled Friday off. In comination with Monday I hope to have a nice four day weekend and it is inching closer.

Star, glad to hear you got power back We rely on power for so much, it really brings it into focus when we lose it for a while.
I will not be around long today Our company is having an afternoon retreat to get all our emplyees together so I will be leaving for that around 11:00 EDT It should be a fun time and get to see the people that otherwise I don't see or even have a reason to talk with most of the time.
Good mornoon everyone! I can't wait until Friday at 12:00 my vacation starts and I won't be back until Sept 12th. We probably won't do much maybe a camping trip or something.

We are starting to get our share of Katrina. The forecast is calling for thunderstorms and upwards of a couple inches of rain. We are getiing off easy.
You know, we needed the rain, Ray. Well, at least Bloomington does. It's been a pretty dry summer. And it'll cool things down just in time for Labor Day!
I'm hopping on the time off bandwagon. I'm leaving at noon on Friday (I'll be headed up to Greenwood Friday afternoon, Ray!), and I also took Tuesday off. I can use the long weekend.
