They are. They are killing all of my high school memories one by one. If you have watched celebrity fit club 2, you may know what I'm talking about. Janey Lane of Warrant is on there. When I saw him, I didn't recognize him. He used to be one of my favorite crushes. I SO wanted to marry him one day. Heaven isn't too far away.... Yeah. He looks much better now that he cut the mullet and went with the spike 'do, but they're killing me.

It's like when they did the special on Leif Garrett. I did not need to see him again looking like that. Let me alone with my memories, VH1!!!!!!!!!! It's like when I die. I don't care if I'm 103, dig out the best picture of me you can find and put it out there for all to see and close the freakin' casket. I don't want ANYONE standing over my dead body saying "Oh, she looks so peaceful." When I'm dead, I'll look dead, not peaceful. The rest is all smoke and mirrors.

Sorry, I'm having a rough day and I may be in the process of snapping. Take this with a grain of salt. Hope I don't offend anyone. Does anyone else agree with me here?

Trish - Do you feel better now? I giggled over "I don't want ANYONE standing over my dead body saying "Oh, she looks so peaceful." When I'm dead, I'll look dead, not peaceful. The rest is all smoke and mirrors." That is exactly how my friends and I feel.

Yeah, sometimes I have a problem with Behind-the Scenes stuff, especially in music. Let me live in my own dulusional world where my favorite artists are angels and could never do wrong...

I would like to know whose brilliant idea it was to show these aged rock stars. Who cares? And why do people watch this stuff? Is it because it shows that they are real people or is it just to embarass them as they age? I am with Trish, leave it in the past and enjoy it the way it was. Get that old feeling back again. For that is the way it was meant to be.

Grace Slick refuses to perform because of the fact she doesn't like to see a bunch of Grandma's and Grampa's in spandex pants trying to jump around on stage.


I heard a rumor that Ozzy dumps a bucket of water over him before each concert to hide the fact that he's incontinent.

Yea YEARS ago already I heard Grace Slick just bad-mouth The Stones for being "absolutely ridiculous" for being that old and still "tryng" to rock. Mark my words she's just jealous that they can pack stadiums at $300 a ticket!!!

Trish,  my friend Christine who lives in Texas used to date Jani Lane a long long time ago.  They dated around the time Dirty Rotten Filthy Stinking Rich came out, and he even wrote a song called "Let It Rain" from the Dog Eat Dog album and dedicated it to her.
