It's up to 32° here! It's a heatwave! "This is my island in the sun... Arrrriba!" And it sounds like the snowstorm has decided to go north where it should be.
My husband gets his christmas gift tomorrow: I'm taking him in for a massage. He already gave me mine, a new necklace and earrings in pink, blue, and green with dolphins on them.
Other than that, I have no plans this weekend. Farmer's Market is closed until January I think, which is fine, I can get what I need from the co-op. So I can sleep in. I should probably scrub the kitchen floor, wee. And of course grocery shopping. So I'll probably pull out some sewing or one of my many unfinished craft projects. It's weird after the pace of writing in November to have nothing to do.
Morning all. I know I am glad it is Friday. I'm beat. Somehow it was a long week. I think all the being away from my desk during the day has thrown me off.
Mz - you can come to my house and clean if you like. Or you can walk around with me and my Mom. We are going to the outlets near my house. She is going to shop and I'm going to try and tell her she needs to buy me things.
In other random news, I now have a nephew.

Fuzzy, I'm not exactly known for my cleaning proficiency. I am known for being a good shopper, though. Well, as long as I don't snap and attack rude shoppers. Perhaps you don't want me with you.
Congrats on the nephew! I got a new nephew a few months ago too. We got to see him on Thanksgiving. He seemed to really like me.
I'll be heading out after work to go see everyone. I just spoke with my mom and sister and everyone is dong fine. I had originally started with my mom because I though my sister would be exhausted. She was up all night. She said she slept for about a half hour. I'm sure she sleep later. I asked her who the baby looks like. She hadn't really looked at him to notice that. She said he doesn't look like either of them. Must be the mailman's baby then.
You can still come shopping. I don't mind the rudeness fixer. Generally it isn't too bad at the outlets with rude people. The hardest part might be finding a place to park.

Once again we find ourselves enmeshed in the Holiday Season, that very special time of year when we join with our loved ones in sharing centuries-old traditions such as trying to find a parking space at the mall. We traditionally do this in my family by driving around the parking lot until we see a shopper emerge from the mall, then we follow her, in very much the same spirit as the Three Wise Men, who 2,000 years ago followed a star, week after week, until it led them to a parking space.

OH, that frustrates me . . . when you are behind someone who is sitting in the middle of the drive because they are waiting for a shopper to put in their packages, get in their car, make their phone calls, etc, etc.
You should have seen where and how some people parked on there on Black Friday. I know that if I am being stalked for a spot I slow down a bit and am not in a hurry to get out. Yeah, I'm like that.
Web - do you actually have to fight for a parking spot out there? Do the cows take all the good ones?

Well, here at home, no parking is generally not a problem. It can be busy around the "square" downtown at times, but for the most part, it's no an issue. We do usually have to go out of town at least once for Christmas shopping which means Walmart, Target, etc, where we get to deal with such issues.
