New Bass - WHOOP! WHOOP!

Well, it's costing me a bathroom remodel, but my new bass is on it's way.



It is shipping today from NY and is scheduled to be here on Thursday! It will take me a bit to get used to this new one. It has one extra string on it than I'm used to now which will change the spacing a bit.

My wife was complaining about the problems in our bathroom . . . so I made her a deal:
New bass = knocking out plaster, rewire, plumbing, insulation, drywall, paint, floor, new tub and surround, new toilet, vanity, and medicine cabinet.

The bathroom was going to happen someday anyway, it's just going to get done a little sooner than I had planned. She decided that it would be worth a new bass to get it done sooner.

Anybody wanna buy a beginner's bass in great shape? Becasue I'm getting a new one!

It's a "Schecter". They are made in Korea. I read all the reviews I could find and could find nothing but praise for this brand. Many of the reviewers were comparing the Schecter against high-end custom guitars and quite a few liked the Schecter better even though they are priced WAY less. They all said that these guitars play very nice.

It's kind of a risk buying something before playing it, but I'm going off the faith of the many reviews I read.

Congrats Webguy. sorry about the new bathroom but its a win win situation. ( you get the new bass, and your wife will still love you because yoru paying money to get the bathroom fixed

Thats a great looking Bass Web, they do have some really nice guitars on that site too, will have to check them out in more detail later.
