In case you are wondering.... this is a picture of Earth. Yes... that is us. Where? Center right in the picture... the one tiny speck on the reddish-gray stripe across the picture. This shot came to us from Voyager 1 and was taken back on February 14, 1990 from some 4 billion miles away. I don't recall ever seeing this photo before, but it was requested by Carl Sagan and was the inspiration for his book Pale Blue Dot: A Vision of the Human Future in Space.
