I like DS's poem, so I had to put it in today's thread too:

I'd rather mow!
We've only got 3" so far. Unfortunately, I think we have the worst snow removal street department in the state. The roads are not clear. It's taken all night to get this snow, I don't see why the roads couldn't be clear. 8-1/2 years down here, and I'm still spoiled by the street crews up north when it comes to removing snow. (Now fixing potholes is a different matter entirely...)
We are getting a couple snowy days here in Wisconsin as well MZ. It seems like the quality of snow removal here varies from county to county. Don't even get me started on pot hole repair.
Good day, all. I'm happy that the snow has moved out of my area, sorry that it is now setting upon the rest of you. So far today it is not as windy as we were told it might be, which is a good thing. It is bitterly cold, but we are not in the blizzard-like blowing snow conditions that were in the forecast.
The boss strongly suggested I remain at home again today. I've elected to take him up on that... the broken booty isn't taking kindly to all the snow shoveling of yesterday and this morning.
Hope everyone is having a great day.

Hey, we got the snow, but nobody from the land of cheese can complain about the temps. It's been a rare winter so far where we're always in the mid 20's it seems. That's fantastic. Usually by now we would have had at least one stretch in which we were in the single digits for a week. Heck, it's not unusual to go through a five or six day run in January where we never even hit the positive side of zero.
So all in all, it's been a good winter so far. Get through this month and things are already lookin' up.
I'm debating if I want to go out in this snow today. I have errands to run that I'd rather not put off, so I think I'll snow suit up and go!
