Good day, all. It is not snowing here yet, but word is that the KC Metro area is to be the epicenter of this particular Snowmageddon. We'll see how it goes. Presently very cloudy and 18*. As a safety precaution, I did bring my snow boots and pants to wear home.
Getting ready to go to the heinous meeting of the week... the one that was supposed to be on Monday that got pushed to today. It will be interesting to see what kind of fight this turns into.
I did get over to the optometrist yesterday to get my new glasses. Interestingly enough, they didn't hit me for any additional $$ as I was warned that they would. This only causes me concern because I've got the feeling that I'm going to be hit with a much worse than anticipated bill in a couple weeks or so.
Ah well... off to pick a fight.

Morning all it is approaching 40* and was foggy this morning. I heard rumors that we may see the sun today. I hope that means I'll be able to see the full moon tonight.
I'm about half way through making my tax payments for the month. Here we go to MN.

I assure you all that I took my broken butt with me. And I was not the person who left the conference room limping. One would think that after knowing me for about 15 years, that chick would have learned by now that when I ask a direct question I mean to get a direct answer. If I ask for details, answering in generalities will not do.
On the down side, after the meeting the boss did inform me that the greatest odds are that I will be spending about 4 weeks this summer in southeastern Asia. I asked who my travel partner would most likely be...he said Little Man. That is good by me. If I had to travel with the chick referenced above, it is extremely likely that I would be returning alone as she would be in a burlap sack floating around the Ganges.

I'm home. School let out at 1:30 due to the snow.
I had to stop at the bank and while there, two ambulances and the full volunteer rescue squad went out. That's not a good sign for someone. In a town our size, unless it's just someone passing through, we likely either know them or know of them in some context.
