I have my chili ready... just waiting for game time.
Hoping for a quite day today. Yesterday was really busy. Costco shopping, Wal-Mart shopping, haircut, trip to the ER for Kevin, making chili...
Yeah, we went to the ER for his shoulder. He never went for the x-rays that his doctor told him to get last week. Yesterday was a really bad day for him. Soooo... $150 ER copay later the x-rays don't show any breaks. The physician's assistant did some range of motion tests and basically told him what we already really knew: torn rotator cuff. He is supposed to get back with his regular Dr. to request a referral for a MRI. At least he got a prescription for some better pain meds.
Ah well.
Back to the happy stuff: GO PACKERS!!

That which does not kill me postpones the inevitable.
Just checking in from the good old dial-up at home. Mr. DS chaufered me to work on Friday, but I couldn't play because SHE BOSS hasn't been able to make it in and I was trying to catch her up on daily time for payroll. Out of the storm on Tuesday, at home in the sticks, we ended up with about 12 inches of snow; Friday, another 3; more tonight; and possibly another 6 to arrive on Wednesday. Geez! Still, not complaining because we don't live up north where some of y'all have had it bad. And happily, the groundhog didn't see his shadow and Spring is on the horizon!
Happy SuperBowlSunday to those of you who will be watching and may both teams win

I'm not sure who I want to win the superbowl, I guess it depends who's asking. I think I like the Packers a little better than the Steelers. If my aunt, who's a Steeler's fan asks, I'll say I'm cheering for them. If my brother and sister in law ask, I'm cheering for the Packers. If JR asks... Er, I mean...
