The Fine Print

I just started reading a sociological study about the guitar in America...which I am sure fascinates everyone (he said, tongue in cheek). Fall is a great time to sit down with a good book (or the Good Book) and a cup of tea (Ultimo) or cocoa or coffee;  maybe even a Brandy or cognac.

Has anyone read anything they would recommend?

Read anything lately that you think could be made into a good movie?

Unfortunately my life leaves little time to read a real book. I get about 30 magazines free a month, so that keeps me busy. I also read the paper everyday. Little bites is about all I am allowed! Too many distractions. However I just did read five books on rasing teenagers! I am living the movie

I have finally gotten to read the new Harry Potter book. I love the Harry Potter series. Of course, we all know they're going to be made into a movie eventually. The books that I have been reading lately would not make good movies. They are on diesel engines and pumps. SNOOZE.

I just read the new Harry Potter book too. What a surprise ending!

I'm also almost finished with Eragon. It would be a good movie, and I've heard rumors that they are working on it. It's kind of Harry Potter meets Lord of the Rings. Impressive, since it was written by a teenager.

I am finishing up a book called "The French Quarter" that I bought in New Orleans. Its by the same author who wrote "Gangs Of New York" which was made into a movie. Really cool little historical myths and facts about the odd characters in and around the town. I think this would make as good of a movie as Gangs.

I'm pretty big on the classics, history, and non-fiction; don't have enough time to get into a lot of non-fiction.

Love the Harry Potter Series too.

I just finished reading five books (There was a series of five books) on the Chronicles of Porter Rockwell.  He was a US Marshall that killed more people than  Wyatt Erp, Doc Holliday and Bat Masterson combined.

Had no idea the demons and internal struggles of his life.  If you like Westerns it would be a good movie, just keep Kevin Costner out of it.

Well, I definately think it's an alias. I'm guessing it's either Sirius, or for a great twist, Snape.

I was thinking Sirius too.
Though Snape would be a wicked twist.

I am currently rereading the Harry Potter series.
I needed to refresh as I was confusing the movie plots with what was written.
