Trish was here this morning. Dave sometimes checks in before work, but usually it is after. Molly and Star have been missing. Dylan pops by every so often, but not necessarily everyday. Today should be Thump's day at his other job, so no computer there.

JD may have moved to the roof to work if the witch is driving him crazy.

No holiday here.

But only one week until my wife and I take a week off.
9/24 through 10/3

No big plans, with gas prices still high, we plan to wrap up house projects to get ready for winter.
I'm sure we will take some time to do a little leaf-peeping, either that week or when the colors get really good.

I'm here, but I wish I were at home. The weather is a cool and breezy 65 degrees and the need to bake cookies is almost overpowering me. I love fall! It's almost time to wear boots again! I love, love, LOVE boots. And I saw at Kohl's that the cute boots with the sexy thin heel is back. I'm getting me some of those!

Trish--glad you like fall, because I hate it. I am already freezing. It does not go over 100 degrees anymore. My ideal temp is 105. I don't think I could ever live anywhere but the desert southwest, or Hawaii.

Thin blood, CP. I love fall. Give me a pair of boots, a sweater, a pair of jeans and the ingredients for a pumpkin pie and I'm happy. I'll be baking in my boots. Sound weird, but you know what I mean. I like walking with a cool breeze blowing my hair. I like Christmas shopping in the crisp autumn air. I like that first mug of hot chocolate that actually warms you because you were outside and actually got a chill. I don't drink anything hot in summer. It raises my internal temperature to where I'm sweating bullets and that is not attractive or comfortable. What can I say? I'm spicey!

Trish I'm with you on fall. Except the boots part. I love a fire in the fireplace, candles lit, low lights watching a good movie or a good football game. I like Christmas shopping in 30 degree weather with a light snow falling. I really like the changing of the seasons.

I think you are nuts. I like my warmer weather. A palm tree with lights is just as attractive as a fir.

I'm with CP on this one. The changing of the seasons would be great if it was over and warm again in a month. In fact, instead of a christmas tree, every year I use a palm tree! My friends love it! We even put lights and ornaments on it and presents underneath it.
