Let me be the 1st to blame GW for nightmare Rita is causing for thousands .

 Yep , It's GW's fault there moving at a snails pace on the hi-ways , no hotels or motels

as far as the eye can see , no gas left at the stations .

 yep it's his fault that not everyone has the ways or means to leave , that the mayor of

 Galveston has already said it's pointless to even try to get out .

  Blame GW for the price increase in gas as all the refineries have already shut down.

  but on a good note , all the rain New Orleans is /will get is a blessing in disguise,

 that town needs a good wash down , (no flooding ! )  it will help clean the city up .
