New Music Weekend: BON JOVI - Have A Nice Day

We finally kicked off the New Music Weekend program, the first disc is Bon Jovi's "Have A Nice Day".

A different track will be played each hour over the weekend. Hopefully we'll either save you some money if the album sucks or give you enough incentive to buy the disc if it rocks!

If anyone has any thoughts on the album or tracks post em here!

I'll start. I thought "Last Man Standing" was pretty good. I heard this album is supposed to be very much in the vein of the CRUSH album which I really liked, so I'm excited to hear it.

It's weird, I don't get to listen to new CD's much because when I'm home I'm always tuned into the station.

I thought the first track was great! I've always liked Bon Jovi's music, and this song is no exception.

I have always liked Bon Jovi. So far the album sounds pretty good. Mind you I am not paying extreme attention to it, but it seems good.

We most certainly did not steal this idea! At least, I don't think we did. Who knows, maybe a station in my childhood did something like this.

I got to work around 2..   so i have heard 3 songs.... first 2 didn't make an impression... third one caught my ear (COMPLICATIONS) and i must say, i like it...  good beat...   although i didn't think it was Bon Jovi at first... had to check it out on now playing to be sure.  Now i am curious to catch the next one...


I used to love Jon! I always thought he had the best hair. I even had him on the back of my jean jacket in the Living on a Prayer years. Then a few years later i saw him with his hair cut and that was it for me. The fascination died.   horribly... kinda like with David Lee Roth. <shudder>


 



 


suddenly i feel like buying curtains!!!

All right, the first new music weekend is over.


It seemed to be a pretty big hit, but next time we'll come up with some kind of a rating system for the songs so maybe we can rank em and determine what we think the hits are likely to be.


For the next 30 days the entire album will be available by request on the playlist.  After that we'll remove anything that hasn't caught on.

I thought it would be nice to see how the new Bon Jovi CD compares to the last one.

I didn't realize it, but Bon Jovi's HAVE A NICE DAY was the VERY FIRST New Music Weekend EVER!
