I'm still sick with this cold. I don't have a sore throat or anything like that, it's mainly dealing with congestion and various fluids draining from my head.
We went to the hockey game Saturday night. The local team (Tri-City Storm) lost, but It was fun. We were not sure if we'd go with the snow/drizzle issues, but we went. It was starting to freeze on the van when we left to come home, but the highway was not slick. The boy thought it was cool to see a "real" hockey game.

Morning all. I am back into paperwork. I am also awaiting the arrival of the boss. They cancelled his flight of Indy and shuffled him around this morning. I'm hoping to add to the piles of paper I have for him to review before he arrives. So far I have been able to do that. Now the bigger boss is bothering me for something. I'm so tired of being interuppted by him and these stupid conference calls.
I know it is early in the week, but I'm not sure which day I'm living for yet. It will be another long week for me. I hope you all have a good, productive week.

Good morning all. It's sunny but cold here; weatherman says the sun is supposed to stick around for most of the week. Good, it'll help melt the icky white stuff we still have on the ground.
Saturday night I went to the Disturbed, Korn, and Sevendust concert. It was definitely a Headbangers' Ball!! Had a great time! Since Disturbed is on the Mayhem Fest lineup this year, I think I'm gonna buy a ticket to see them again in August.
Wow, Monday already. I thought I was going to have a productive weekend, but it work out as planned. We are trying to help Jacob find a good used car. He and Mr. DS went to look at a couple, but they had problems. Hopefully the one he's looking at today works out. I'm getting tired of jockeying Jacob around.
Tulsa metro weather is overcast and chilly, but no wind. We might see 50 today.

I'm hoping the snow is done with me! I'm ready to be grillin', chillin', and listening to tunes out on the patio. Sick of being cooped up in the house all winter!
Good day, all. Not so bad for a Monday for me thus far. Yes, I'm on another testing call, but it is actually going well. It is cold here this morning, presently 34* might make it into the 40's today. It snowed yesterday but not really all that much. Maybe 1/4 inch.
It was a fairly relaxed weekend for me. Went to the BFF's house for dinner and watching the basketball games on Friday. That was nice. Spent Saturday and Sunday doing the normal weekend errands, got some stuff in preparation for the upcoming international adventure, and trying to rest up in advance of this week. Gotta work tonight, so feeling rested won't last long.
Definitely ready for winter to be over.
Hope everybody has a great day!

It's cold but sunny here. We're supposed to get some nicer temps by the end of the week.
Opening Day is on Thursday. I CAN'T WAIT! I'll have to head over to Moms to watch the game cus I cancelled my cable last spring. Can't miss watching opening day though!
I had honestly forgotten all about the baseball season starting next week. As the radio announcers around here say, "Win, lose, or draw... the Royals are mathematically eliminated from the playoffs on opening day!"

lol. So true. And I'm so sorry. I wish baseball would do something about the imbalance. At some point they HAVE to right? We can't have teams like the Royals and the Pirates that year after year after year can't compete. Then if they finally do their window is so small that they'll have two good seasons and go right back into rebuilding mode.
I like the Royals a lot. I went to see a few games at Kaufman Field. I hope they return to glory one day.
Hey Fuzzy, I read in the paper that Tastykakes is in financial trouble and may not survive. Did you know this? Is it true? Or are they blowing the situation out of proportion in the papers?
It was reported some time ago that Tastykake was in trouble. I think there was also news that there was going to be new ownership. I haven't paid attention much. I do know that I had Tastykakes today though.

I didn't say that we weren't protected or even that we were outside. And I'm pretty sure when he wrote the song in the 70s not a lot of people were concerned with melanoma.

Well I guess you're not doing enough to keep them afloat then Fuzz! It's your job as a Easterner to buy those tasty kakes. Freeze em' if ya have to. You gotta keep Tasty Kakes in business, they're an American institution!
