Monday

Good day all.

It was a stormy night here last night, which woke me up a couple times.

I feel like this kitten.

Morning all. Why do I have a feeling that this will be a long week?

Howdy.

We had storms all around us too, but nothing much happened right here.

Doesn't almost every week feel like a long week?

Because we get a day off next week. That always makes the days in seem longer.

There is that, but I think it is also the crap going on around here with audit stuff upon audit stuff.

Why is it no one communicates around here? I didn't really think it was that hard. My boss made two phone calls early Wednesday morning to two people. One of which was the bigger boss who origianlly called him Tuesday night. Why was it that come late Friday afternoon my boss was still waiting to hear from both of them? It's oh so important that you ask questons, complain and panic on one day. Nothing changes and it suddenly gets pushed to the back of your mind. Do you really want another $2.5m tax assessment? I had being ignored. When I actually say something or tell you something it is important. I am not one of those people that bothers you with every little thing I do every day.

You'd think they would be worried enough of having to pay the IRS extra money, that when you say you need something, they'd get it for you.

Good day, all. I'm actually catching a break today... someone else is doing the database overview of the moment. YAY! I like not having to pay attention to what is going on with the trainees for a bit.

It was stormy here in the wee small hours of the morning. I woke up around 2:30 because the TV went quiet. Heard the rain and thunder... went back to sleep. It was cutting out again when the alarm went off. By time I left for work it had stopped raining and was just working on getting muggy.

House to myself tonight! Unfortunately I will spend a good deal of it on the last Ethernet class I have to have done before tomorrow... unless of course I manage to get it done this afternoon.

Hope everybody has a great day.

I know. I can't keep getting $2m tax audit assessments from all these states. We are trying to prevent that from happening with NJ before the auditor even gets here. The problem is on the sales side. I was given around 40 exemption certificates for the audit. About 10-12 were acceptable. I took the other back to the billing dept (with notes on everything that was incomplete) and told them to go get complete, correct forms. Of course, they decided to have a fit. It isn't my fault you people accepted these forms. If you didn't know if it were acceptable, you should have asked the corporate tax department. Yes, there are only two of us, but we would have reviewed and approved them. Now, most of these predate me, but they are just beyond unacceptable.

DS, our youth group is on a Missions trip to Tahlequah, OK. I had to look and I see they are still quite a distance from you, but according to the reports via FaceBook, they are really feeling the heat.

Tahlequah is about 1.5 hour drive. Hope the kids enjoy their time there and get to float the river.
