Lawn Cuttin' Day

Hey gang,

I have not deserted you, but it's lawn-cutting day. With it getting dark so much earlier now, the only time I have a chance to do it is in the mornings before work.

SO, hi ho, hi ho, it's off to work I go!

You mean stuff like that, right? Although I don't like doing household chores, they still need done, and sometimes you just want to enjoy your weekend.

Oooooooooooooh, that's an ugly thought Star!

Weekends are supposed to be about either A) Fun or B) Laziness, not work! I like to condense all my work into five days so the other two days can be all about MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Well, we see where your priorities are, Riggs.

I'm afraid I'm going to have to take drastic measures if that's what it takes.

FYI - I didn't get home till midnight last night and here I am at work at 7 am!

I am not good at getting stuff in during the week. I spend on day on the weekend doing the cleaning, laundry, errands, etc. During the week, when I finally arrive home in the evening, I do not care about much, so a lot of it gets blown off until the weekend. Now that it is getting dark ealier, I lose even more ambition to do something when I get home.

I too believe weekends should be about fun, not chores. Why not have fun with me this weekend, Sunday night, right here on Freeze Frame Radio!

(where's Trish!?)

Me too Fuzzy! I get on the internet first thing Saturday, get my six pack and start cleaning! I spend most of the day cleaning. But I do not mind, I feel blessed to have a home to clean.

Sorry Riggs, hey it is free exercise!

Yes, Ruby six packs can be very inspiring!  I had some great six packs that included don't cha over the weekend.  Unfortunately more than one of mine was interupted w/ COUNTRY MUSIC!! Kind of ruined the swing of things!!

Star,

Country music CAN NEVER ruin things, it can only improve things.

As long as it's not the old twangy-style country. Anything newer is golden. GOLDEN I say!

Riggs! What the !!!

That "old twangy-style" IS country music. The new stuff is countryfied-rock. It has become a cross between a Kiss stage show and Lynyrd Skynyrd.

BAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

The old twang is all about three things, women, beer and trucks.

I mean, don't get me wrong, I like some of it, but most of it all sounds identical.

The NEW mainstream country is basically the pop of the 80's.

Faith Hill, Shania Twain, LeAnn Rimes, Tim McGraw, Martina McBride, etc. Those guys n' gals basically sing pop music in the country genre because the pop stations play rap crap now.

It's a perfect blend of pop and country. I LIKE IT! I LOVE IT! I WANT SOME MORE OF IT!

Star,

YOu gotta be quicker on the draw. Someone just slipped on in there while you were daydreaming.

And come on, "Thank God I'm A Country Boy" is GREAT! You can't pick on Bob Denver, the poor man is DEAD!

Spark, let's not use words like "slutier", it has such a NEGATIVE connotation. I prefer to say that todays country woman are "Comfortable" with their bodies Also, might I add, that I am comfortable with their bodies as well

That's really why my wife went country. She was wanting something new but didn't like the new rap crap. Now she worships Keith Urban.

He is an awesome guitar player . . . I'll give him that.

I WISH I HAD A TRACTOR!!!!

No, I cut the entire 9 acres with a regular mower. Actually, a MANUAL mower! No engine! Just whirling blades propelled by MY PUSHING!

I'm beat.

Now I gotta go to work

Forgive Star Ruby,

She was stung by a country fan.

You know how it is, you're in a groove, you're rockin' out, and then something messes it up.

For me it would be like having four songs by 80's artists, then a little Tupac, then two more songs by an 80's artist.

I can feel your pain Star.

BUT FOR GOODNESS SAKE, SUCK IT UP AND MOVE ON WOMAN! LIFE GOES ON!!!

Yes I know, because everyday when I am here, I have to hear music from the 50s through today. I do not like it all. I even hate some- Don't Cha, Barbie, JANE and all those boy bands, but I am here everyday, respecting everyone's taste. That is what makes this world go around. If we all had the same tastes, the world would be a boring place!

Riggs-
I just wanted to point out the fact that you INTERUPTED my songs!  (no, you people don't get what this guy does - he interupted IN THE MIDDLE of a song!! get it?  that is rude!)

I don't give a s#@* what is on.  I can tolerate all kinds of music.

but I'm over it.

Ruby, I'll send a request your way.
