We were able to get four innings in the boy's baseball game before the rain hit last night. We were ahead 13-4 at the time so with the 5 runs/inning rule, they other team couldn't come back anyway. We play again tonight against a team that has beaten us twice.
I checked my rain gauge here at the shop and it had 1.70". It was a pretty good rain, that grass was needing it again.
My desk and email have exploded. And I have an appointment at 5 tonight, so I can't stay late. I might have some unhappy people tomorrow, I don't think I can get back to them all today.
5:30: Straight from swim lessons to baseball warm up
6:00: Baseball game
~8:00: Eat (hopefully)
8:30: Meet at church to practice with the new drums (and drummer) for sound adjustments, etc.
I'm really excited about the drums though. We just got a REALLY NICE Roland electronic drum kit. Our new youth pastor plays drums and it will be so much better to have a full drum set rather than just a pair of congas played by a timing-challenged conga player.
Yeah . . . he was tired last night too. Yesterday the sitter took them to the pool in the afternoon, then he had swimming lessons at 5:00, then a baseball game at 7:00.
