Morning all. Almost afternoon. It has been quiet today. Is it a day off that I don't know about? I would have gladly stayed home today. I did not sleep well. It is a nice day so let's go outside and play.

Hi Fuzzy. I'm with you, I'd rather be outside playing. I had a meeting with a customer this morning who stresses herself out, which always makes me a bit on edge too. Her event is on September 30th, but she's managed to arrange it so that it's already a rush.
I could really go for a picnic at Oliver Winery's pond today. But they require 2 people to share a bottle if they open it there. So Fuzzy, would you like to come join me?
Also busy. We have a big job in Jersey starting up -- something like 150 on the payroll for this job, and they're all union, so we need to make sure they're all set up in the system.

Good day, all! I'm going to totally agree with all the busy folks... these last several weeks have been unreal! I feel like the guy from the Duncan Donuts commercials from back in the 70's... it is always time to make the donuts anymore.
Training class for the India peeps is on cruise control at the moment. They leave on the 26th, so we (the travel team) have been fast and furious getting ready to get going. I don't head out until around Oct 5, but there is so much to do!
Meanwhile, I decided to join the Kansas Patriot Guard riders. On Saturday I attended the funeral service of a PFC Cody Baker as my first mission. This morning was my second mission... escorting Spc. Spencer Duncan from the local air field in Gardner, KS to the funeral home in Olathe. It was so touching to see what looked like the entirety of both cities turn out to line the procession route.
Anyhoo... otherwise it has been mostly working days and nights... as usual.
I've missed you all!
Hope everybody has a great day!

That which does not kill me postpones the inevitable.
Yesterday, I walked to the garage to pick up the van at 2:30. Since they wanted it there at 8:00am, I assume it would have been done. It wasn't, they were still trying to find the source of the squeaking. I went back at 5:15 to get it and he had the entire dash removed. I was like "Yikes, if I had known it was going to be such a big deal, I would have just lived with the squeak". He said "oh, I'm sorry, the manager said go ahead with it, I assumed he called you". I asked how many hours he had in it to this point and he said "Oh, not that many yet." So, we'll see today what happens and how much this squeak costs.
