Just getting around to check in. The receptionist is absent and it's been sorta busy in the office.
Mr. DS went to the heart doc on Friday for his normal check up, but he's also been having some chest discomfort. He's supposed to hear about getting scheduled for a heart cath for sometime this week . It's only been right at 2 years since his last one .
Anyone hear from Fuzzy? Did she do ok in the storm?

From Fuzzy: "I was fine. No water. No loss of electricity. The creek was over its banks and the baseball field behind my house was under water, but the water has receeded quickly. I just finished a walk through the park. It was completely under water yesterday. Thanks for checking on me."
It's a beautiful day in Brew Town. I'm gonna head over to the health department to sign up for a couple stalls at the flea market in late September (don't ask me why the Health Department handles that, I'm guessing it's because the flea market is held in the same structure as the farmer's market is).
Today kicks off the first week in two months that I won't be working any overtime. I'm gonna like having two day weekends again, but I'm gonna miss those big checks. In fact, I have a feeling I'll be signing up for more overtime soon. But maybe not eight weeks in a row again.
