I had to take my car into the shop today, fourth wheel bearing assembly to be replaced in four months. Hmmm, think there's some bad part here?

This is either good or bad. Let's examine this.


If it is the fourth wheel, then you should be good since you are out of wheels.


If it is the same wheel, well then, you should beat someone up for not fixing it properly or finding the cause of your problem.

Fuzz,

Replaced the left front bearing on May 17

Replaced the right front AND left front bearing on August 19 (never paid attention to the fact that the left had just been replaced)

Replaced the left front bearing today.

They're not planning on charging me for today, and now I'm fighting for a refund on the left bearing done in August.

These things are $265 a peice. I should note that these mechanics are NOT trying to rip me off. I've done business with them for years and they're a great, family owned business. I think whatever manufacturer is making the bearing assemblies just has a problem on their hands with faulty parts.
