It sure looks like it's their year. I had to check the computer first thing this morning. I went to bed at the top of the 10th. I couldn't keep awake any longer. In fact, I was flipping back to the game during the commercial breaks on Boston Legal and I started dozing off.
I am glad to hear that they won. I gave up on them in the top of the 11th. It was already late when I did. I wished them luck and turned off the tv. I guess I have been routing for the right team this post season. No more Black Sox.

I really don't, BUT, I Tivo everything I do watch, so even though I only watch for maybe an hour or and hour an a half a night I cram over 2 hours worth in because I skip the commercials and end credits (that can cut TEN MINUTES from a 30 minute show!).
Anyway, Tivo only records the new show, not the rerun, so when the series is on, a lot of times I sit down to watch a little tv and there's nothing saved because people ran reruns not to compete with the series.
Also, I WANT 24 and the SIMPSONS to start!!!! They've held them off because they have the World Series.
I LOVE 24. Never watched an episode in my life, but when my wife and I were on vacation at the beginning of the month--it was raining very hard one day--so we went to Borders--someone recommended 24, so we began watching season one. I could not wait to get two and three. Season 4 comes out on Dec. 6th.

Sorry riggs, Simpsons also won't show new stuff untill Nov 4, even if they do wrap early, Fox has to plan for the series to possibly go to game 7...they'll probably show a rerun, & then guarantee the new stuff on Nov 4 (watch breaking news cut in then, like an earthquake in antarctica that sends a tsunami to wipe out south america, where the entire delegation of the united nations decieded to take a business trip to during that weekend & all those countries....well....yeah something like that....)
