They started selling a Chex Mix Muddy Buddy's.  I tried some last night and while they're not as good as home-made, they're not far off.


This is going to create problems for my diet.

Oddly enough I think the one thing that detracts from the mass produced ones is how perfect they are. Each piece is perfect. The blend is exact.

When mom made em' they were lumpy and uneven. Some had more powdered sugar, some had less, etc.

They need to make em' less perfect and then they'll be perfect!

This must be the stuff we used to call puppy chow. Chex mix covered in chocolate (I think there was some peanut butter in there too) then coated in powdered sugar?

That sounds good, and I found some non-cornstarch powdered sugar. I should make some.

That's them! We always called em' muddy buddies, but when I was checking out at the grocery yesterday the clerk saw them and excitedly squealed "PUPPY CHOW!!!!". She didn't know they made them. Said she'd have to buy some after she got off work.

It's a crunchy Corn Chex rolled in peanut butter n' chocolate and then smothered in powder chocolate. It's DEEEELICIOUS!!!

Besides, I am right handed. That makes me left brained. Even more proof that I am in my left mind - Left side is considered the logical, analytical, objective side. Right side is more intuitive, creative, and subjective.
