Funny, as much as I love Halloween, I don't do horror movies very well... My favorite movies of all time are The Shining and Sixth Sense. But when it comes to the horror genre where it starts with 7 or so and they get slowly killed one by one until one or two are left, I have a harder time! I haven't even seen Friday the 13th...
Yeah, I prefer creepy to gruesome. But I still like horror movies any way. But I haven't seen Saw yet. My hubby doesn't like horror movies, and I know I'll need someone's arm to bury my head into while peeking at the screen for that movie. I do fine with slash-slash-you're-dead type stuff, but there's some stuff, like sawing off your own limbs, or giving yourself paper cuts between your toes ala Jackass, that just gives me the heebie jeebies!
I've been waiting for Saw to come out on HBO or Cinemax, but I might have to go rent it.
I saw a really gorey one last night called Dee Snider's Strangeland. It was about a psycho who entices young teens in a chat room to come to a party then he torchers them.

That's the one D! It had quite a few recognizable names for such a weird movie. Linda Carlini from ER, Amy Smart, Well we all know her from Road Trip. Robert Englund from Nightmare on Elm St.
