A friend just referred me to http://www.icheckmovies.com where you can keep track of movies you've watched and want to watch. If you're interested and decide to sign up, add me.
I signed up, but it seems pretty clunky of a site. I suppose they'll improve overtime so I'll keep my membership (after all it's free), but I doubt I'll do much on it for now. I guess I expected some kind of a rating system or something.
The old Netflx system worked really well when they were connected with Facebook. I liked seeing what my friends were watching and what they rated movies they watched. It actually led me to watch several movies I otherwise wouldn't have. I still don't understand why they disabled that feature. I know it had something to do with Facebook telling them to though.
I probably won't be too active on it for now, but I'll check back every so often and see how it's going.
At first I thought that Netflix filled that sort of need, but then I realized that there's nothing I can do about movies Netflix doesn't have listed. I like that on this site I can import from IMDB. So if there's any movies not listed on their site (like all the independent horror I watch), I can still add it.
I keep a list of the movies I see. Well, it's a hand-written list and nothing fancy, but still...
