Leave the poor woman alone!

Come on, her brother is bad enough, and we've already seen her breast, is the rest of this really necessary?

Jackson Sunbathing Video Hits Internet

Thu Oct 27,11:39 PM ET

NEW YORK -
Janet Jackson has been exposed — and this time,
Justin Timberlake is nowhere to be seen.

A video clip showing Jackson sunbathing naked has been circulating on the Internet and was still playing on some Web sites Thursday. The 40-second paparazzi video was shot from bushes near the singer.

Jackson's publicist didn't return a call Thursday from The Associated Press for comment.

Her lawyers were reportedly attempting to have the video taken off the Web. On one site, a freeze-frame was still up Thursday, but the video link had been taken down — replaced with the message "removed because lawsuits aren't really my thing."

The exact source of the video and when it was shot was unclear. Photos taken at the same time popped up online last year.

Jackson found herself in the middle of controversy when Timberlake revealed her right breast — the now infamous "wardrobe malfunction" — at the end of their set during the halftime show of the 2004 Super Bowl.

Last week, her former brother-in-law, Young DeBarge, accused her of having a "secret" child — a daughter, Renee, now 18 — with ex-husband James DeBarge.

The 39-year-old singer issued a statement Wednesday saying: "I do not have a child and all allegations saying so are false."

Jackson's brother Tito defended her in an interview that was to air Thursday night on syndicated TV entertainment show "Extra."

"I do not have a nephew or niece or whatever it is that's being said right now," he said. "I'm pretty sure it bothered her a little bit, but she's going to go on and be strong like Janet always is. ... She'll be OK."

I just read the same story and thought the same thing. I really do not think celebrity life would ever be for me! I know you should try to always do the right thing and not let the little stuff bug you, but the press is relentless. And who is perfect? They are human stars!

Huh, poor Janet. Back in the news again. I'm sure somewhere she is saying, "I wish this publicity would go away." as she winks.

I do NOT feel sorry for celebrities.

As a cabinet maker, I risk the chance of losing fingers every day. That is something I have to deal with due to the profession I chose.

As a celebrity, you risk the chance of someone watching you every day. It's called fame.

If you can't handle all the comes along with the job, then you should have not chosen that as a career. Many celebrities seem to think they should be able to turn fame on and off as they need it. It doesn't work that way.

The only difference I can see in my mind is that if I want, I can walk away from my job and never have to deal with it again. A celebrity can't do that, but they made that choice.

Just because she's a celebrity doesn't mean she loses her right to privacy. If she wants to sunbathe nude in her private back yard, it doesn't make it okay for someone to hide in the bushes and take pictures of you.

Now, I hate the celebrities that whine because people want to meet them or get their autograph. That is part of being a celebrity, and that is the downside to their job that they have to live with.

The thing is, you can be photographed ANYWHERE, it's not illegal.

I could be photographed taking my dog into the backyard to do it's business.

They realize when they become famous that someone will ALWAYS be watching, trying to get a photo.

I'm not saying it's right, I'm just saying they know it going in.

Trespassing is illegal.

And you know, now that I think of it, I think unknowingly taking pictures of someone in the nude and distributing those photographs without their knowing or consent is illegal.

Again, I don't think being a celebrity gives up that person's right to privacy.

Or Jeremy, you're kind of a celebrity here, can we start taking nude photographs of you and putting them on the internet?

That's what I mean. I too, am not saying it should be open season on celebrities, but that's the way it is. If you can't handle it, (and adjust) then don't sign up for it.

Dylan likes playing music. Maybe Dylan would like to become a famous musician. Does he want to become famous to be a celebrity, or does he want to share his love of music with the world. Maybe we should stake out in Dylan's back yard and take naked pictures of him.

A celebrity expects the downsides to fame to a certain point, but when they lose basic human rights, it's gone too far.

I agree that it's not right. I'm just saying that's the way it is and that's the reality of fame today.

When (not if, but when) Dylan becomes famous, I would hope that he has sense enough to know that if he goes out into his back yard naked, someone might be out there trying to get a picture of him. I agree he "should" be able to do that if he want's, but he also has to understand that is not the way it is today and it's a risk he would be taking.

Web, I admire and appreciate your optimism

Molly, my backyard isnt part of a palatial estate...so I make a pretty easy target.

I dont think the fault lies with these idiotic photographers. The public worhips these celebrities and the paperazzi just fills a need.

As a society, instead of worshipping athletes and movie stars or musicians...maybe put that into more spiritual endeavors.

What is the world coming to when a guy cant prance naked in his back yard.

That's right Dylan.  What is the world coming too. I go naked in my backyard all the time--during the day of course when the sun is out and the kids are at school.  In fact, did it just today--and got caught by the pool man.  He just said Hi and went about cleaning the pool.  I continued to lay there.  I am sure he didn't want a picture.

But I bet the air in California is a little more smog worthy than SD. He probably couldn't tell the difference.

Hey Molly, I'm not disagreeing with you. I think it's ridiculous that these people can't get a moment of time to themselves.

All I'm saying is, we're never going to change it. As long as there are celebrities there will be invasion of celebrities privacy.

They need the press to write about them and take their picture to get their name out there on a bigger scale, in fact many of them LOVE to be involved in scandalous talk because in Hollywood any press truly is good press.

The only thing I'm saying is that you can't be surprised when you're famous that people will go too far to get a photo op. It's the life of a celebrity.

PS.

As far as Dylan goes, I think he'd LOVE to have a camera man trying to take his picture during a private moment. He'd know he finally made it!

So, JR, let's set it up.  We can start our own Freeze Frame tabloid.  Dylan on the cover in the reality of his shower.
