Good day, all. I'm trying to get back to work, but just want to nap. If I could get away with it, I'd take the rest of the day off. It is supposed to be in the high 70's this afternoon. I think this will be the last of that for a while.
Had fun last night with the grandkids for Halloween. The weather was nice, so there were loads of trick-or-treaters out. Most were really well behaved.

That which does not kill me postpones the inevitable.
I'm still trying to decide if it were productive. We discussed several outstanding issues. I even managed to work into the conversation the reminder that I am easily $10-15k underpaid and have documents and job postings that show such information.

I sure did! I stayed up late last night and got 1600 words in. And I just did another 800 or so. If I can get another 1600 in today (totally possible), I'll be well into the word count for day three!
I also did some grocery shopping, laundry, and dishes, so I'll have more time to write during the rest of the week.
But now I'm taking a break to take the cat outside and let her chase some leaves for a while before I dive back in.
