Actually today I am getting ready to spend the day working on our school's Habitat for Humanity House. We are taking our class and spending the day doing hard labor. I am actually looking forward to it!! Good to help someone else!
I've been non stop with customer stuff since I got up. Nothing bad, just a lot of questions and half of it has nothing to do with my services.
I've got one lady that I'm going to have to make mad. She is paying $10.00/month for web hosting so she now thinks it is my job to fix every little thing that goes wrong with her computer. She offers to help other people fix their computers, then when she gets it, she Instant messages me to help her figure out all the problems.
A couple weeks ago, she offered to help someone replace a hard drive. While plugging it in, she got the plug wrong and broke pins off the back of the drive. She called me up and asked what to do. I said, well, you either tell them you broke their hard drive and they have to get another new one, or you have to buy one to replace the one you just broke. She wondered if she could send the drive to me so I could open it and fix the broken pins . . . NO!
Last weekend, she instant messaged me and wanted me to call the Tracphone people for her becasue she had a problem with her Tracphone account and her landline phone was broken too. I told her I didn't have time so she decided she could drive over to her mom's and call from there herself.
Since she has no clue, I'm afraid I'm going to have to tell her out right that my customer service has to have some limits.
