I agree, it is Monday. We had a nice weather weekend, some severve thunderstorms lat night and it has cleared out beautifully. Still supposed to be a nice day. We should have all stayed home.

Hey Ray, the Sixers squeeked one out the other night over the Pacers, huh? When I saw it the Sixers were up by 20, they only won by two.

Good Morning everyone! Ok Monday here so far. I feel a lot better today. I still need my first cup of coffee to wake me up. I find if I take the stairs (5 floors) it gets me going in the morning.

I give up . . . spammers win.

We have (had) a guestbook on our church website. I get an email every time someone adds an entry to it. The spammers are just relentless. The last month or so, it's been about a 50-1 ratio of spammers to real signers. So, they win. I took the guestbook off the site.

I hate spammers.

They are so stupid. Posting a link to "insest porn" on a church website . . . do they think we're going to leave that there?

It's been a year or so ago that I heard that AOL went after one of their biggest spammers. They found him and he was prosecuted.

He didn't have enough money to pay the fine that was accessed for using AOL's resources so AOL got his car. AOL then had a drawing and gave it to one of their members. One little bit of justice for that winner . . . the car of the spammer that sent you a bunch of junk.

I think the Pacers thought it was opening night and by just showing up they would win. Well if you don't play defense then it's hard to get a win. Philly didn't want to go to 0-4 and it showed. They played with purpose. Coach has said the defense will be stressed now since the team doens't want to play it. It's good to get these little problems fixed early in the season.

Ray...its a long season...even good teams lose 20 to 30 times a year....its a marathon, not a sprint.

Ray - were you working. I thought of you when I watched some of the game. I only watched five minutes, watched the Sixers lead grow from 12 to 20 and wondered if you were on the floor somewhere. I think it was sometime late in the third quarter and at that time your big guys were on the bench with foul trouble.

No, I wasn't there. I'm only working weekday games for awhile. I've been doing it for 16 years. Even though I enjoy it and still like doing it, it's time to slow down. Plus opening night the game ops people get real uptight. So missing that is really a bonus. The only game I'm working in November is this Wednesday. I'll probably pick up more games after the first of the year. Gear up for the playoff run. It is a long season.
