Good day all.

We're supposed to get some typical winter weather here tomorrow. Today it's supposed to get to 47, which I'm perfectly happy with. But come nightfall, the temps are going to start dropping and keep going down all day tomorrow. It's raining today, and they say sn*w for tomorrow, so I bet there will be some freezing rain and icy roads in that mix too. Yuck.

Howdy everyone.

Yep. We have a cold front comming our way. The weather people say it's supposed to drop to 30 by quittin' time, and be cold and windy tomorrow; but the by the weekend it's supposed to be back in the 50's again.
Man, I hope ya'll don't get freezing rain Mz; that's the worst...

We get it every year at least once. We're kind of stuck between two different climate zones, so winter is usually mild, but that usually means the rain will freeze at some point.

Morning all. The sun is out for now. The clouds will be rolling in and then the rain. They say it will be heavy, especially overnight. Tomorrow may be a washout.

Good day, all! Presently sunny and 38* here, forecast high is 44*, then it is supposed to drop like a rock all afternoon and there is supposed to be snow around 5PM. We aren't in for any significant accumulation. The main concern seems to be that the roads will still be warm enough to melt the snow as it falls, but the air temps will cause re-freezing overnight so as to make for an ice rink for the drive in tomorrow, which has a forecast high of 29*. Still, I can't complain. This has been an exceedingly mild winter thus far.

Not a whole lot on the books for today. I'm basically waiting for others to sort out problems in their work so I can get on with doing mine. Looking like a quiet day of waiting and watching the weather.

No one told me about nap time. I guess I got confused because there is paper everywhere. And I haven't received some of my forms yet. I want to finish the WA and WV quarterly filings but don't have all the paperwork. It could be here on someone else's desk or not here at all yet. I know I am a few days early doing this particular task, but I want my forms. If they are due 1/31 they should already be here.

I'm just waiting for the weather to roll in. Not much else going on around here today, cept our first staff beating of the year for the boss's lead team. Mostly we just made fun of Jeff with his new i-Phone. He was trying to look for a query he had made to Siri so he could tell us the amusing response he got, but he couldn't figure out how to get Siri activated. Eventually he did something and it beeped a couple times, but when he tried to make an inquiry, he got silence. Finally he decided to stop messing with it and just before setting the phone down he said, "I love you, Siri!" . The voice of Siri cracks into life, "I'm sorry Jeff. I cannot do that."

Harshly rebuffed by Siri in front of the whole team.

I'm hosting a website that has always been paid for by the site's designer. The designer is no where to be found. Their own site is gone (and taken over by squatters) and all emails I have for them are bouncing.

I called the company who the site belongs to (a property development company) and told them that I can't get in touch with their designer. I said I will need someone to pay for this account if they want to keep it online. The lady I talked to gave me an address of someone's personal email who knows how to get in touch with the designer. Nice.

I'm done chasing. I emailed the person, but if this last person I emailed doesn't reply, I'm gonna suspend the site and let them come to me to get it back up. I'm trying to do them a favor, working to keep their site up, but if they are just going to pass the buck and shoo me away, fine.
