Friday night, we had a freezing rain storm, a bad one. Saturday morning, everything was still covered in a sheet of ice. We were out of coffee, so I thought walking to Starbucks would be safer than driving. I was wrong. The roads were clear, but the sidewalks were not. And Bloomington is hilly. At one point I was standing perfectly still, sliding down the hill across the street from my house. I ended up having to walk in the street to get back up that hill.
Today, it's 50°. We had a thunderstorm last night.
Ice is no fun. Mrs Web is on her way back to Grand Island for this work project she's doing. It's fine here, but the roads are labeled "extreme caution" for the last 10 miles getting there. She decided to go ahead and try it because she wants to get the project done, and she doesn't want to be in the office here.
I'm not in a great mental state today, but it's Monday, I'll work through it.
Morning all. It was a cold weekend. That freezing rain you had Friday night Mz was snow for us early Saturday morning through 10am ish. It was a quick storm blowing through. We had about 4 inches and thankfully we were above the dividing line of where the freezing rain was, as it was about 50 miles south. The only time I ventured outside all weekend was to shovel. We have had rain, expect more and the high will be around 50 the next two days. That should help to wash most of the snow away.

Good day, all. No snow here last night, but there was a good thunderstorm for a while. We need the moisture, so I'll take rain over snow any day.
I've been busy with little work stuff all day. Nothing major, just busy work. Got a bit more to go, but I'm not in a hurry since I have no idea what the rest of this week will hold.
I spent the weekend mostly with my family. It is nice being able to hang out with them without the bickering.
Tonight is home alone night (A.K.A I get whatever I want for dinner and do some laundry!) Looking so forward to it!
