I really want and need to be out of here at a reasonable time. Honestly I'm hoping not to push it past 10 hours. I was in at 8:30. There is a work baby shower tomorrow. I don't have a gift. And I didn't have the cash to contribute to the gift card. After the invite came out I completely forgot about it. Work got in the way. Rude, right? Obviously the best shopping time would have been over the weekend. I remembered Monday when I looked at my work calendar. Since I've been here late all week. Progress is being made with everything. I know am in a position to put the returns in the envelopes (along with all the assorted paperwork). Someone is going to help me with that. He has some time available so I am stealing it. I do have to wait on a bunch of checks, but he can put everything together and I will handle to 40 that need checks on Saturday. I have other returns and checks here that I need to get finished. Those will be ready to go by lunchtime. Then I need to get into my month and quarter end stuff because I am behind in that stuff.
So tonight I need a gift, a card, to fill up my gas tank and perhaps a real dinner. I wonder if you can call Toys/Babies R Us, tell them the items on the registery you want and then pick them up.
But really, have to be out by 7.

Actually, yes. I believe you can go onto their website, select your stuff, and choose In Store Pickup.
Yeah?!? That would be great. I normally like to look around, but this will do. I'll have to tell the girl that sits two desks over. She doesn't have a gift yet either.

Good day, all! Not a lot of excitement in my world today. I have tons of work I need to be doing, but of course I'm waiting on others to do their part so I can do my part.
On the plus side, I finally got a good bid from a gutter company that apparently wants to do the work on my house. The new guttering will be installed on the 18th.

Getting harder. People bothering me. People supposed to be signing stuff making me chase them. The stuff I wanted to have done shortly I am not even close to having done. However, the baby gifts are ordered. And the store doesn't close until 9:30 so there is a chance I'll be okay. What doesn't look like a possibility right now is that 10 hour day. Why do I see a 12 hour day for me happening?
