It's supposed to rain tomorrow, so I better get the mowing done today. I got the blades sharpened and the oil is draining. I'll pick up a new filter, new oil, and some gas when I go home for lunch. Then, hopefully the old John Deere will start so I can joyfully participate in the first shop mowing of the season! Yay me!
Man, I wish! Luckily, it sounds like we already have the customer pretty firmly in hand. Which is good, because she talked about the new boat they just bought and how the other owner was spending the morning with the grandkids. It seemed tacky telling customers about that sort of thing. Really! Instead of talking about her sister with a swimming pool and room for a pony, today she talked about her daughter who flies first class to Hawaii and has a Mazeratti. If I'm ever invited to a candlelight supper, I may have a heart attack.

Tonight is the boy's last night of church (AWANA) for the season. He only has next season left starting up next fall again, then he will move on up to Jr High Youth Group. It will be nice not having to do the Wednesday night church run each week for a while.
Maybe we could get her partially retired. She already keeps weird hours. Let's try to talk her into only working Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday. That way you'll have Monday and Friday to yourself and you could hear yourself think.

I'm getting ready to go home now to do my mowing. After me watering early last week and the rain from Saturday night through Monday morning, it needs to be given a haircut. Have to get it done in anticipation of tomorrow's rain. Mow on.

A predictable schedule? That sounds fantastic! Some weeks, I actually get that. Others, she's in the office even less. And then the other owner starts to make her come in all the time.
