Alright, with that win I'm beginning to think these guys are special. 11-0 only guarantees an 11-5 season. Right now it looks like the only team that could stop the Colts are themselves. It was a lot of fun. I watched the game from the tunnel. It was as loud as I have ever heard it in the dome. The fans were hyped before the game even started. There were a lot of Steeler fans in the building and that fueled the Colt fans. I hope to post a picture later. I took it with my phone. I got home at 1:30 and in bed at 2:30. Needless to say my butt is dragging today. It looks like I'll be drinking a lot of coffe today.
Oh young Molly! I'm not thinking Super Bowl yet. I'm looking forward to Tennessee this Sunday. I'm enjoying the ride and not looking at the destination. This team keeps talking one game at a time and I really think they are taking that approach. We are watching something special. I can't belive the defense responded the way it did to this game. Against Cincinnati the D looked suspect. But against one of the most physical and intimidating defenses and a pretty good offense they stood toe to toe and punched the bully in the mouth. Bob Sanders was a monster. He had some great tackles and hits. This could very well be our year.
My point is that right now, I have a heck of a time finding somewhere to watch the regular games, so I don't get to enjoy it as much. Come playoffs and the Superbowl, I have to start planning now, so I'm not listening to them on the radio!
You should just come up to Indy and hit BW3 at 31 and Stop 11. That place is always packed for games and always rockin when the Boys In Blue are kickin' butt. However, you may need to get there 3 hours before kick off. If they do get to the Super Bowl I bet there will be a party in the dome. They'll bring in some big screens and have a public party.
Doesn't everyone get to the game at least 3 hours before game time? That is the minimum you need for a good tailgate party! That can't just be a Kansas City thing.

You gotta leave that early for a game at Arrowhead. First of all, the traffic is terrible, then you got to find a place to park, fire up the grill, cook the steaks, eat, have a few normally priced beers, then totter your way into the stadium and find your seats. That all takes at least 4 or 5 hours given that on your way to your seat you must stop and buy the 4 highway robbery rate beers along the way.

Of course I did! I love it when they're gone...my favorite hobby is sleep! Football is still my nemesis though. When they're home & it's football season, football's on the TV. My 10 year old son was watching ice skating on TV the other day. I was, like, FINALLY something NOT football. Turns out he was watching the football scores on the bottom of the screen. I can't win.
I agree to some point. Listening to every player that talks about it, the streak is secondary to the ultimate goal. I really believe they are sincere about this. I've tried to curb my enthusiasm but I'm beginning to think they could go unbeaten. They got the monkey off their back by crushing New England. Granted, they are not the same team. But going into the game that wasn't an issue. They shoot it out with Cincinnati then get more physical with what might be the most physical team in the league. It's almost like they tell each team, choose the style you want to play then we'll out play you at your own game. As I've said before 11-0 only guarantees 11-5. However, we are in rarified air. 12-0 is very possible but Jeff Fisher can coach, he can coach crazy too. I'm like Coach Dungy and the players. It's a short week and there is a division rival to deal with. The destination is the goal but I'm enjoying the ride. If the ride happens to be 19-0 that is icing on the cake, but a Super Bowl Championship is forever.
I guess I did make it on TV yesterday. I just had some one tell me he saw me during a replay. I'll have to get a copy of the game and see if I can get a screen-shot of the moment.
I'll be signing autographs in the lobby during the intermission.
