We survived mother's day. I made dinner last night, and Logan made his mom a nice card.
I had never tried a prime rib on the Traeger grill yet so I got a small 4lb hunk of meat and gave it a shot. It wasn't bad. It wasn't as good as I've had in restaurants, but I've had worse prime rib too. We didn't have any au jus, that would have helped. I did make a mushroom sauce that was good. I also baked some taters, and warmed up a bag of "Steamers" mixed veggies. Over all, it was acceptable.
We got the nephew all graduated off on Saturday. I asked him what he was going to do on his first Monday after graduation, he said "I really don't know?!?!" I'm sure his dad will find some work for him to do.
Logan has his final 5th grade band concert tonight, baseball practice two nights this week, and he's out of school after Wednesday. It's feeling kind of summerish.
