Population 59,600 Saaaalute!

The town I live in is about 6000 people, the city I work in is 59,600.

Just looking at some of your towns on the Frap map they look huge. What is your Pop?

Greewood is a suburb of Indianapolis. Although my address is Greenwood we are not part ofthe city. We are an unicorporated township. I think there's about 40,000 folks in the township.

Oh yeah, nice Hee Haw call back Sparky!

Sparky,

I spent several weeks scoping out your town (or the one you work in) because I wanted to move there (and will do so some day, hopefully soon).

In fact, the town I wanted to move to, Edgewood, probably had a population of about 200.

I am very envious anytime you mention where you live

Wow, you guys are making me feel like a big city! Technically, our population is 69,000, but I have to assume that includes the college kids. It's probably a third of that in summer.

Although the city I moved from was only 46,000, it was part of a metro area of a city with 107,000 people, so this feels small to me.

As of the 2000 census St. Johnsbury's population was 7571
The town I grew up in, Kirby, had a population of 456 according to the same census.

So, as you can see, I moved into a major urban center

Riggs,

That would be awesome if you came out here! You could give me the keys to the studio and I would change my name to the Rock Doctor and and.......well it would just be great to have you here!

NO fair Riggs. You must let us all have the chance to woo you to our city. I want the keys to the studio!

Gosh I really feel like I am in a big city! Population of Charleston: 110,000! Charleston is compromised of five areas though and ours has a population of 51,000, but the tax base stretches to all 110, 000 of us!

Well I checked online I saw that in 2000 Census that Tulsa had a population of 383,000 people as a city alone.

The Metropolitan area surrounding tulsa pulled us up to about 800,000

The Oklahoma City Metropolitan area is over 1.1 million people. almost as much as Dallas!!

I live in the same town as Pambo, which she has already told you about the population.  We work in what you might call a city within a city... Sprint Nextel's corporate campus is in the middle of Overland Park, KS... population 167,000. It is the second largest city in Kansas.  Anyhoo, the corporate campus is big enough that it has it's own zip code.  Our daytime population is somewhere around 16,000.
