Prayer Intentions For The Weekend of December 3rd, 2005

I am not sure how many pages the Prayer thread has fallen...it appears it has been awhile since the need has been there for our Forum members...which is a good thing.

However, Jeremy's dad has had a serious setback today and is now in the hospital.

Please pray for Jeremy's dad tonight and this week end.

Also, pray that Jeremy and his family have the strength to accept God's Will, whatever it is at this time.

We all know what a special individual Jeremy is, and what a good friend he has been to all of us....this speaks volumes as to the type of man his father is because the apple didn't fall too far from the tree in this case.

Never underestimate the power of prayer.

Thanks for the update. I will be praying for them as always. Jeremy when you read this know that we are here worrying with you. God has a plan for your dad and I pray that he continues to bless your family with more time.

Hey guys,

Thank you SO much for your thoughts. I haven't been around much lately, even on the forum, because the situation has gotten worse rapidly with my father.

Right now the cancer has spread throughout his body. He's also dealing with dehydration which is causing horrible bloating of his stomach, legs & feet. His blood sugar was dangerously low at 45 (he has had diabetes for years and had never had his sugar level drop that low), and his red blood cells were dangerously low as well so he got a blood transfusion today. The most recent and pressing concern is a blood clot that has formed in his lung.

I believe I have only a week or two left with my Dad, and that's being optomistic. Obviously I'll be spending my time with him, or in prayer, so I'll continue to be scarce around here. But I want you all to know how much your thoughts and prayers have meant to me.

I've gotten so many emails, pms & IM's regarding this situation, sometimes it boggles my mind that so many people I've never met can be so caring.

You're a very special group, and I thank you for being there for me.
