Good afternoon Ultimo. Hey if the Colts keep it up it looks like you'll be adding to your Colts wardrobe. I've been meaning to ask. What is up with the Wolves? They're going to end up with more ties than wins. If they had just 6 or 7 more goals they would be fighting for the top two or three in the league.
Ruby, I'm on my second cup too.....but I'm already at work. Came in early so I could leave a little early.
Hey Ray, yeah we have a habit of drawing games, you should see the results from last year, we drew nearly every game! or it seemed that way, by the way don't think I have forgoten about sending out some Wolves goddies for you, I will be honestly, just not had the chance yet, will do it after I get Christmas out of the way.
I can't believe how well the Colts have done this season, when I picked to come and support them (well kind of) with you and Mz, I never thought they would go on such a fantastic run of results, I kind of picked them because I thought they were similar to Wolves in as much as they were a good side but not always so consistent, but obviously I was wrong on that one! Lets just hope it continues all the way to the Superbowl.
Since the Wolves play in January and February what is the weather like? I know my daughter played in snow a couple of times but that was the exception. Do matches get postponed due to weather?
Some of the stadiums do have roofs but most don't, mainly because the pitch is real grass and there for it needs natural light and rain to keep it looking good.
Ultimo, you'll love this. The Arizona Cardinals are building a new stadium with a retractable roof. It's going to have natural grass, but the grass will be kept outside until game day. The grass will be tracked in on a large rail system that will move the entire field in and out.
I saw something very similar to that at the Japan / South Korea World Cup, one of the stadiums there had that kind of system going on with the grass on a kind of track thing, also The Millenium Stadium in Wales has a roof that can open and close.
Thumper! What's up buddy? I know your busy with work and cooking. Hope you put aside some time for yourself. We bought my wife's folks a Kitchen-Aid last Christmas. Do you have any of the accessories? If so which one's do you like the best? This year we're giving them attachments, but were not sure which ones to get.
Ultimo, the Colts are going to have a retractable roof too. But the turf will be artificial.
Well, so much for Philly football. It was just plain bad. I hate when they embarass themselves in front of a national audience. What the heck, how can you expect to win when you give them 28 points off turnovers. Duh. I knew I should have gone to bed before the game started.

Its my day to get weaseled today. Two months ago, a guy called and asked if I could cut down some oak flooring that he was going to order. Sure, no problem. He brought it last week with the story that it's been sitting here at the building center and the floor installer didn't let him know. The floor installer called asking if it was done yet. I said I just got it and he said he called the owner and told him it was here a month ago. One of them is not telling the truth.
Now, they think their lack of planning should be my emergency as new renters are moving in and the floor is not done.
So, I better work on that out in the shop today and won't be here as much as normal.
A side note to that though. I did breast feed both of my kids for a year. Well with little E, I was working here and pumped three times a day. I would leave the bottles out on my shelves and I assumed that most people knew what the set was for. One day I had an older gentleman in my office for a degree check and he looked at the bottles (see below) and said, "What kind of drinking vessels are those?" I will never live that down! He came yesterday to get a transcript and no one could keep a straight face.
Hey all... 16 degrees and snowing a bit here today. With the wind factored in, it feels like 2 out there. Sorry about the Eagles, Fuzzy... I know the heartbreak well since I tend to be a Chiefs fan.

The actual temp is 2° right now. I got the wood stove going this morning . . . . ooh, that feels good. Work a little, soak up a lot of heat, work a little, etc.
