Yes, I posted these on FaceBook too, but I like them so here they are again.
We went to the city fireworks display the night of the 4th, but a storm was coming in. While waiting for the display to start, I got these lightning shots. Shortly later, the firemen got called out to a grass fire that was started by . . . you guessed it, lightning. Since a storm was coming, and because the volunteer fireman put on the fireworks display (and they left to go fight fire), the display was postponed until the 5th. Since we left the morning of the 5th for vacation, we missed the display and I got no fireworks pics this year. But, I still have my lightning pics.
